Who we are

iDial is a two-founder software company based in Australia. We build a sales-research tool for software sales reps. If you have any privacy question — or want us to delete data — email alex@idial.com.au.

What we collect

If you contact us or book a demo. Our demo-request form opens your own email app with the details pre-filled — nothing is stored on this website. When you send that email (or write to us directly), you share your name, email address, what you sell, and anything else you choose to write. We only use it to reply and to set your account up.

If you use iDial (our sales reps). To do its job, iDial gathers business-contact information about the people our users might call — typically a person's name, job role, the company they work for, and where available a work phone number and email. This is professional, business-contact data. It comes from commercial data providers and public sources such as company websites and job boards. We also hold your own login email so your account works.

Why we collect it

That business-contact data is the product: iDial researches a rep's target companies overnight and builds a private list of who to call and why. We don't collect anything we don't need for that.

Where it's stored — and kept separate

Data is stored in Supabase, a hosted database service, with per-user isolation: each user only ever sees their own workspace, never anyone else's. We treat this data as private and don't publish it. This website itself uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

We don't sell or share your data

We do not sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. The only parties that touch it are the infrastructure providers that store it for us (such as Supabase) and the data providers we source it from — nobody else.

Deleting your data — on request

Anyone can ask us to delete the data we hold about them. Email alex@idial.com.au and we'll do it. This isn't a promise on paper — we have a working erasure process that removes the person from our database and from a user's local research files, and records them on a do-not-import list so a later research run can't quietly add them back. (A company record with no people left may remain — that's business information, not personal data.)

Your rights (Australia & the EU)

We aim to handle personal information in line with Australia's Privacy Act, and with the EU's GDPR where a contact is in Europe. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — just email us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

A note on calling (Do Not Call)

iDial is a research tool — it builds a list, it doesn't place calls. Some direct mobile numbers it surfaces may be listed on Australia's Do Not Call Register. If you're an iDial user, you (the person dialling) are responsible for washing your list at donotcall.gov.au and for following the Do Not Call rules and the Telemarketing Industry Standard before you call.
